That was a hard question. I looked back and forth at the two pictures several times before I could decide. In the in end, I have to say "no". Looks better without the chop.
Sam how much did you chop the back window? I took 7 out of my top and can't decide if I want 4 or 5 out of the window.
Hi there, I would keep it tall an use a trunk lid off a 69 Chevy full size to fill the roof with, if you seen one you will know what I mean! 28Abone.
When I was throwing mine together, I was so certain it would be chopped about 8" or so. BUt I ran out of time and didn't chop it to get it on the road. Told myself that I would do it some other time. Well...now I am starting to like it tall. If I was you I would do the same. A lot easier to chop later if you still want to. Sounds like a weenie way out, but it is a pain to have to try and put it back after you whack it. So for now my vote is TALL....but next summer I might say chopped. LOL DuckusCrapus
honestly...i dont remeber,,,all i rember is that i trimmed the upper and lower area so it wouldnt be a mail slot... i chopped 10" out of the rear and 10 1/2" in the front...i think it was around 6" out of the back window...
Well, i decided on unchopped. Im puttin it together to sell and fund my 32 5w. i hope someone else likes it tall as well. here it is.
keep it tall .......... here is a tall t uncut and with fenders that looks real good, not to many of there uncut one left... so i say keep it tall
i don't think you can go wrong either way, I left mine tall because it has the original glass.. and I like them tall so it worked out...
I did this one 5.5 inches. i also shrtened the car 5.5 inches and narrowed it 2.5 inches. i really liked this car.
I say chopped looks best and to me they dont come any Kooler than the "Bad news" T from burbank choppers......
This was chopped way before I got it but I believe it's 4 ". It looks chopped but still has that "Tall" look.
I have a suspicion your T is channelled 4 inches. The chop if any looks pretty mild! Nice hot rod all the same.
