Been working on getting my new garage up to par this week. IM preety excited about all the room i have. i can fit both my cars in there and i have amble storage and work space. I worked in the garage for the first time last night. it felt good!!!

O and i had to install some air conditioners from my old house in there. Now i have heat and a/c what ive allways wanted.

I still need to update and redo some of the electrical but it was good enought to weld some stuff last night. Plans are for a fridge for the beer and put my old computer out there with high speed internet so i can surf the hamb while working. its great ill never have to leave the garage!!!

I even have these scary fold up stairs into the "loft" storage space attic thing. they make it much easier to get parts up and down from there.

any way here are some pics.

    Godzirra! Godzirra! I see Godzirra!

    Run for the hills!

Garage looks... clean. You need to dirty it up!

(I'm thinking I need to paint mine... its kinda dark without having white walls) I'll paint Gamera on mine, though.

Nice! You can actually spread your shit out in a garage that big.

I see Greg rode his bicycle over to help you out huh???;)
I don't see that old stove in any of the pictures. I sure hope you kept it to do some homemade powder coating. I really think it would come in handy.

the stove went out to the curb with a free sign on it. and one morning it was gone. i like spray paint powder coating is wayyyy to high tech for me.:D

and the bike is my buddy from jounior high who just moved in down the street. we now live as close as we used to back in the day so we ride back and fourth just like when we were 11:D

And dont let fathack drink beer before you have him paint a "hotrod" mural on your garage. i still have to paint over godzilla there:rolleyes:

What an upgrade from what you had before! Looks nice man. You'll apprciate the AC in the summer, I always have. I installed mine like you- when I first moved in.

And all the extra "work" room now too- I'll have to swing by and check it out.

Is the garage door insulated? If not, it's cheap and easy to do and makes a big difference.

  16. A/C??? In Michigan? Pffft! You don't know the meaning of the words "hot and humid" til you try out sub-tropical in August.

That looks to be at least 2.5 cars... Nice! Where's the Olds?

Say hi to Alex and mom.

Looks like you have it made! I'm actually going to put a deposit on a shop space tomorrow. I'm really stoked! No one in this town has a garage it seems, so me and some buddies are renting a space. No heat and A/C though....
