I got this idea from a guy on here named Yaril. Thank You sir! He did a cool shroud for his ride and I liked what he did and made an attempt at my own. Mine uses the existing fan with cookie tin bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. Too cold here to see if it helps but i am happy with the way it looks. Nice work on the shroud.
Is the "faucet" a Buick item? LOL

Yes, Buick only, very very rare and were only factory installed for about 1 1/2 weeks during production until the bean counters discovered their use. Strait8 don't even think of selling it for less than $10 ;).

The faucet is an inside joke with my car buddies that helped me with the engine swap. When I had the engine on a stand before install for its first fire up I used 2 of them I had laying around in order to regulate cold water thru the block since it had no fan and radiator. Worked great! It actually came in handy when I did the shroud for draining the coolant below the level of the upper hose so I could get the fan/pulley in/out and the shroud in. Never had to pull the radiator. I can quick couple a length of garden hose to it minimizing mess. Doubles as a way to flush the system too.

I never gave the cooling a thought while you had it on a stand prior to installation I figured just for flushing as the garden hose connection is visible. Good thinking out of the box and very clever on the shroud too, it looks good.
