Today was the first coffee run for 2018 and it was a big one with 104 cars(some not HAMB friendly). After Christmas and New year the guys must have needed a hot rod fix. Plus a beautiful summers day. I have been attending this event for quite a few years now and have always been surprised that I don't see another car on the way from my side of town. Well today I caught up with one on the Gateway Bridge and then another 4 a bit further on. Got a shot of the convoy through the screen. Nothing like seeing a bunch of rods on the road as you are travelling. Some of the colour in todays shots is a bit washed out. May have been the bright sun. Next Sunday will be a big car show at the Sandstone Point Hotel(near Bribie Island). Guest appearances with Jimmy Shine and Billy Gibbons. Gates open at 8am and show from 9am to 1pm.
Thanks for the photos Paul. Some cool stuff. It's good to see that you are enjoying your second summer this year. Snowman
Thanks for the cheer up this morning. As I sit looking out the window at the snow, scenes like this seem pretty far away. You guys have some great stuff to share, thanks again.
Nice to see some rodders having fun. Today will be the first day our high temp will be above 20 degrees Fahrenheit in twelve days. Yikes! Phil
