  24. I had the good fortune to be a teenager in the early sixties growing up in Southern California. Had I not gotten the '51 Merc tudor I had in high school, I've imagined I'd have done something like this.............if I'd had the skill and focus. Hey, it took me close to 50 years to get there, but the journey has been fun.............here's what '63 could have looked like when what we now call traditional roadsters where transitioning from flatheads and steelies to small block Chevs and those new fangled 5 spokes.............   25. Almost 20 years ago I bought a roadster at the LARS that was stuck in the late '70s resto rod mode. Spent a few weekends blowing it apart, repainting some of it, tossing the Zenith wires, altering the stance and a few other tweaks and ended up with this............. DSCN0038a.jpg
