Starting a new project with a Chevy Nova. Gonna install a Ford 9 inch rear end. What's the best idea a four link or a two link suspension and ideas would be great

Four link for the street, two link for the strip.

It depends on how you plan to build the rest of the car, and what you plan to do with it. Let us know, we could help you figure it out.

I have the original monoleaf springs supporting the 9" rear in my 62 Chevy II, with home made cal tracs type bars. It drives on the street a lot, and goes down the strip a lot, and does so reasonably quickly.

But there are lots of options.

My plan is to just drive on the street I want to put some wider tires on the rear so I've been told I may need to tub the rears for the fit and that would lead to removing the spring setup

I did my 67 with two inch stock to widen the wheel tubs, the 16x8 wheels fit perfectly.

I have a truck arm rear in my 67. 315/35/17 rears after a nice minitub.
