Hello, I'm looking for isolators for my aerostar spring swap. I found energy suspension A-96120 any one use something else? Thanks, Kurt
If you want a different thickness here's the chart http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/universal-coil-spring-isolators.asp And to save some bucks on shipping take the part number to O'Reilly's, Autozone or Pep Boys and have them order from their warehouse you will probably have them next day and no shipping charge.
Most of the rubber parts coming out of China or India will degrade within a year so you may want to upgrade with some of these parts as well especially boots. The poly sway bar bushings(get the ones you can lube) and end links will offer better handling than the OEM style rubber ones. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/catalog.asp
I hear ya on that. When I was plumbing my engine, I needed an aditional fitting for one of the aerquip lines. Looked all over town, finally found what I needed at an off road shop that carried a ton of fittings by Earl's. It was blue! It was going to show. I didn't buy it. Went home and ordered one on line.
I used new stock isolators with mine... hard to see what color they are up in the spring pocket. I like the red ES parts. I have their motor/transmission mounts and tie rod boots on my car.
