The Good.....actually....GREAT news is..... I received notice today that after over 3 years of waiting, form filling & lots of $$$$$, I have been granted "Permanent Resident Status" here in the USA. I'm from the UK originally. This means that all the terms & conditions I was under for the last 3 years have been lifted I'm off to celebrate!!!!!
****** Good !! It took 11 years to get mine--after having my Employer/Sponsor move out of State--My wife turned in her Card--I coached her to take the Citizenship test, then she got me in.Having our Daughter at the interview at a cute 18 mths didn`t hurt either......
This is a very strong argument for immigration reform, if you ask me! I mean, didn't we fight a war or two to throw you limeys out?? Congratulations on citizenship! I've been emailing back and forth with Clive at Stromberg-97.com (in England), told him I'll have to wait to buy his carbs since we have a baby on the way, so the funny ******* sent me nice "pin-up" pics of his carburetors and told me to hang them up in the garage and dream....haha Wait, I better ask the question, if you come from the UK but not England proper, is it inappropriate to call you English?
