I just got this car, and she needs to be low. What do you guys recommend? I heated the front coils which made a world of difference in appearance, but what about the rear. Also, what about all around-it needs to go lower! Can generic lowering block be made to work on the rear leaf setup? Do I have to move/fab a new shock mount?

the shock mount will be ok it mounts to the plate on the bottom of the leaf spring so it will all be the same. I got the univeral 3 inch lowering blocks from speedway but it didnt work all that well. The block was to wide to get the u bolts through the bottom plate and the pin and hole were to big. It looks cool at 3 inches but im going to have to get some shorter rubber snubbers as it rides on them now.

It's more expensive, but im saving my pennies to get a Jamco setup, comes with everything you'll need to get the car as low as you want, AND make it ride better, it's a win win situation.
