i got the seat back in no problem, but for the life of me i cannot get the bottom to go all the way back in and drop into the 2 holes in the floor. as far as i could determine, the back must go in first, then the bottom goes in. this is the original seat that has been re-upholstered. is there some sort of trick to this? thanks for any help. mike
You have to use a lot of force pushing towards trunk while pushing down, being that rear and bottom have new padding. It might take two people. Good luck Sent from my HTC 10 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Lift the cushion up a little bit in the front. Crawl in the car and use your knee to give a knee kick to the cushion and push down at the same time. If the front seat is in place your job will be much harder.
i huffed and puffed, kneed, punch lifted, pushed to no avail, that seat would not go in. i took it out, loosened the back of the seat, raised it about 3/8 of an inch, put the seat bottom back in, kicked, kneed, punched, hammered, squeezed and finally the bitch of a seat went and dropped in the way it was supposed to. thanks for the help gentlemen.[
