The Roadkill Zip Tie Drags last weekend. https://idrivea55.com/2018/01/25/roadkill-zip-tie-drags/ Lemme know what ya think.
Yeah, it was fun! we didn't make the California trip, since we live 70 miles the other side of Tucson. My wife hauled our Airstream, our friend Dan drove his 58ish Ford pickup, his wife hauled their Silver Streak. I hauled my OT hooptie with my 59 Chevy truck. I got pics of a few of the HAMB friendly cars...there were quite a few, which is neat.
^^^^I really like that 56 Model 150 two tone paint.^^^^ Can't read the plate from where it's from. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
I'm waiting for that! sure glad they're planning something. I went to all that trouble to build a hooptie, I spent about a week and $500 on it.
Honestly I think this hooptie thing has big potential.....in my opinion....2 day deal at Fontana probably get 350 cars
The problem (from the HAMB perspective) is that pretty much any 1965 or older car that you build, that will make it down a drag strip, will probably be worth more than $3k. so I built a later model car (I got it for free, etc).
