    Anyone got a lakes style '28 roadster on '32 rails? I need some inspiration.

    Thanks,

    @louisb

    Here are a few of mine, I suppose a few could be '29s though:

    this one, the body was drawn a little too tall but, hey, it's a cartoon.

    Veddy Nice! Top one is just what I was looking for but they are all great.

    WOW... thanks for all the well wishes, guys! I'm trying to take it easy until I see the cardiologist next week.... so I've been in the garage doing some non-strenuous work in the paint room, painting the walls and doors. It seems my ticker has too radical a cam; it's developed a pretty serious lope. It's looking more likely I'll need a pace-maker to get things idled down to a more street-friendly rate. You folks are the best! It's humbling to find out that people actually care about someone they've never met. (or in GV's case, met once, years ago) Today's show Rocks! From roadsters to Vettes to a blown, super street Merc, you've made my day. Thanks again and have a superb weekend, my talented friends!

    Feel Better Animal, and do not over do it. I know I sound like a wife. But I speak from experience.

    Found this detail of a large acrylic on board which was donated by me to a charity fund auction at DLRA Lake Gairdner 2014 meet.

    Philo, it's the door of this. It was at an auction I went to last year. The s****pers got it. I think it went for less than $150.

    Hey Animal... you've got a great outlook! Bet the lope will smooth out with a lil' tune up and or change in fuel. We're here for you, "Fast Friend" :)

    Roadsters? I dig roadsters... :)

    As it's '32 roadsters, this is the last complete rendering I've done to date. Wheelbase stretch/sweep, '30-'31 AA truck shell, '33 Chrysler headlights, much hacked-about late-'30s rear fenders with '40s Alvis-esque skirt treatment.

    If it is a tool what is it? Curious minds want to know...It is well thought out and executed and displays well as retro inspired. My guess a bottle cap installer...guess revised pipe bender...;)
