Event Coverage Fear & Loathing The Cold

Lost a good friend on August 26, 1968 who was a co-pilot on a USAF C7-B Caribou that was shot down approximately 10 miles south of An Loc near the Cambodian border in Vietnam while flying much needed ammunition to a Special Forces camp.
Love you Ralph. I think of you often.

This has been my very first "real" winter... I grew up on the coast of California and then lived in Phoenix, AZ, so I've only ever seen snow when it was on purpose because I wanted to. Now, living in Minnesota for the year, I feel like I'm on another planet or something!!! I've never been so cold in my life!

I understand about it feeling colder in warmer places, though. -15*F here in MN feels like 30*F on the coast in NorCal. I tell ya, though, seeing all the pictures of cruises and car shows that my friends and family are sending me is really making me miss those Arizona winters!!!
