  1. Man do I love these 60's style cars! That's what I grew up with.

  2. Bowtie - No antenna, 6 cyl crests. I blew up the pic to try and see if the shift lever was visible. Nope. Parked in a ''down'' position could indicate stick shift. Guessing the only option was the wide whites. What a find that would be today.

  3. This is the kind of stuff California dreaming was all about for me as a kid in rainy cold Oregon.
Sun, hot rods, drag racing, rock & roll, girls......EVERYTHING COOL!

  4. Cars like this are so cool! Era is gone forever, cookie cutter cars replaced them.

Amazing pix. They look like a stereo-pair. I wonder if they would work in a 3d Viewer? Gary

Guess what? It works (mostly). I just printed the pair 6-3/4" wide to fit in my stereopticon viewer and while not the best 3D, it's pretty good faux 3D considering the photo shopped print on the right. By "winking" left to right only viewing with one eye, you can pop from stock to custom in an instant.

  10. Woooo Hoooo, looks like Mr Reynold's vacation did him some good!

    WELCOME BACK GARY!

And yes, I did mean to yell.

  11. Sorry, not to detract from all the rest of you who have kept this the very best reason to keep paying for the internet, I just have missed the stuff Mr. Reynolds added the past few weeks.
I will go sit quietly in the dark again now. So sorry I blew up.

  12. Dang! Exactly like the one my folks bought used in '58!
210 post, 6 cyl, 3 speed, AM radio. Daddy was too cheap to ever buy WW's, so it was blacks and caps. Silver and black interior. It was handed down to me, but my brother totaled it one night. Bummer![IMG]

  13. Thanks!
    My month off is over.
