IMG_1562.JPG IMG_1558.JPG IMG_1537.JPG IMG_0923.JPG im finally seeing the light at the end of my very long tunnel. I am very excited about getting color on the Willys. Been toying with doing a lace job, and I really like the darker maroon colors on a willys coupe. Here's what I'm thinking, I can hardly wait to make it happen.

I painted my 46 Harley period correct Maroon. I like it but have had to listen to people continuously asking, "Is that your brown Harley"?

I have really tried to get a maroon that isn't brownish. I'm not sure if this is the perfect color, I like it, but I'm still looking.

Go burgundy. More red than brown. Maroon is an English version of the French word for chestnut which tell you something.

Candy wineberry. You can easily adjust the color by simply applying more coats.

  15. How about a sneak preview...With and without lace. Threw in some tinted windows to pull it together.
