He channeled it to hide an ugly, homemade frame from the looks of it. Funny, I was thinking about doing the same thing.

  3. if only it were a 32

  4. Something about that car isn't right. Maybe it's the radials or the color of the wheels, the type of wheels, the interior, the motor, all of the above, none of the above, I dunno. It just doesn't jive.

That ebay ad has more added crap on it than any I have seen in a long time. If a person did not have a reasonably fast connection to the net it would take a long time for all the graphics and tables he has to load, and the actual pix of the car aren't that good. He's also breaking all sorts of ebay listing rules regarding links, telephone numbers and having his email adress available in the auction description. Simpler is usually better when running an ebay auction.

Another example of someone selling a car that they no nothing about, funny how so many people on e-bay are selling it for " someone else "
    It's not a 32, it's a 30 or 31 and at $10K the reserve has not been met!

    This is my favorite part:

BUILT IN THE 50'S.. RAN WITH A 392 HEMI
    CHOPPED 4" / CHANNELED 8" / ALL METAL BODY
HOOD WAS FASHIONED BY L.A. METAL SHAPING
GENNIE SHIFTER / RON FRANCIS WIRING / ARDUN STEERING
350 CI CHEVY ENGINE / ENGINE COMPLETELY STOCK¸ BALANCED AND BLUE PRINTED¸ BUILT IN MID 90'S
APPROX 2K MILES ON ENGINE SINCE BUILT
KOA WOOD DASH / TOP AND UPHOLSTERY WERE DONE IN MID 90'S
"SUICIDE" FRONT END / COMPLETELY REBUILT ALUMINUM POWERGLIDE TRANSMISSION

    Built in the '50s?
Doesn't he mean "built in the '30's"?
Anything that was done in the '50s is pretty much gone by now.

Presumably he means the rod build-up was originally done in the 50s. Ran in the fifties with a hemi? So what? It has an SBC in it now. Some weird stuff here. Hard to tell just how the suspension works. Is it a trick of the lighting or are the upper mounts for those huge shocks attached to the engine? Chopped 4 inches? How do you chop a roadster? Guess he's referring to the windshield posts. Somebody said the seller is clueless. Maybe but there's likely an even more clueless buyer out there somewhere.

    Hi guys
I emailed the guy selling this rod and mentioned it looked more like a model A than a B,he replied that he is listing it for his uncle and does'nt know to much about it but has found the California title that says it is a 32.
(I will try and add the emails he sent me in return.) He seems to genuinely want some help as it is him doing the selling,so if any of you guys would like to give him some help I am sure he would appreciate it. From my limited knowledge of the 32(I'm a custom guy myself)it just does'nt look right, maybe it's the 50's style or some-thing but to me it just don't look right.
Don't look like I can add his mails to this message, but I did tell him to look at a couple of other 32's that are on ebay right now and he seems to think his is the same.
Maybe Some of you guys could give him some pointers on how to check for correctness.

    Titles will LIE.......

    I purchased a 1930 Model A a few years back.........or at least it was titled that way........but it was a 1932 ...

It sucks when people don't know what they are selling.....
the only thing 32 on that car is the grill shell.

Anyway, there is a really cool OLD Hot Rod buried under that gay paint, wheels and tires, and interior. The rear nerf bar and the front nerf/ headlight stands rule. With some care that could be an awsome car.

It's actually pretty cool that a lot of those old details remain. It could have been completly updated and lost it's character. I would have liked to seen it when it had the HEMI.
