pontiac 400?

pontiac motors kick ass. we kinda "went the other way" on one a while back...a butler stroker kit! took a 400 to 462. (which is the same as a 30 over 455)---holy crap that motor is bad. certified tire frier.

I was gonna rant about cylinder heads, but everyone seems to have covered the bases-except two sets. you will probably never see 'em, but if you do and can pick them up cheap, do it! the numbers are 614 and 722. they are ram air iv, and they are...
a; worth a small fortune
b; able to make stupid amounts of power.

not to mention that if you had them on your car, any muscle car dork (such as myself) that happend to walk by would promptly piss on himself. good as a crowd pleaser, I guess!

 

Must be all those good oil pumps you buy. Haha.

 

Good engine. Keep er under 5500 rpm and change the timing chain. They break easily
