I may be getting slow but what do you mean by reline a drum? Are you going to install a metal liner inside of the drum at the shoe contact surface? I have heard of relining shoes.

Yep that's exactly it!

 

Been trying to drive this as much as possible. One thing i don’t like is that I think I will need a custom length drag link. I may do a shortened pitman arm as well but not sure.

Does anyone know if it is okay to heat steering arms up more than once? Would hate for them to get brittle

As long as you let them cool slowly you should be fine.
