More grain art, and some in process pics...
I finished the dash grain and test fit the gauges.

Added a burl grain to the center pcs...

Finishing the door mldgs. Starts with some background, then a few tricks with the bigger brush, the add final shadows. I might do a full on "tech" in the future without disclosing too much, but here's a taste. The finished product in a future art show.;)

Once it's cleared and finished it takes on a less harsh look, but this is "telling" to some degree. Forgive the shameless pitch, but what would a DVD and a kit be worth to someone wanting to do this? I've wanted to offer it a long time but...? A DVD, my proprietary grain medium, some brushes, some printed material to show grain patterns for inspiration, a list of base colors in paint and powder coat. Don't have anyone interested to p*** this on to so why not. Enjoy...

This is inspiring work theHIGHLANDER. I've thought about painting the wood grain back onto my '90 wagon instead of using the vinyl Di-Noc so seeing this really gets me going. I wonder if I could afford you... LOL!

    Hey Ron,
Super nice drawings. I like the period correct Willys Coupe with the insertion of the Moon Tank inside of the grille area. (like they all should have been) A real gas coupe for the Gas Coupe and Sedan cl***es at the 60's drags.

    Jnaki
That coupe could have possibly been our, later version, 40 Willys Coupe if not for our accident. Hilborns, Mags, big M&H slicks, etc...a great drawing.
(By the way, ours only got up a few inches on one hard take off on our neighborhood street, never to be seen or done again.)

Highlander your woodgraining is off the chain. You should advertise in Hemmings Motor News. It's an artform that not too many can do, and do good.

Thanks for the props y'all. Fitting this in with a typical show thrash is, well, I dunno what to call it. Still need to clear and finish, then it's got to be installed without error, all the while the ba*****t at Detroit 'Rama beckons.
