My version of a traditional rod w/pics

    Ive been building this 27 for about a year now. It was all built from 2 local junk yards. I finally drove it, now interior and its a car.

    I was cringing as I clicked on the link after reading the ***le of the thread....nice job. Very well done.

    I can't count how many times I've heard "my version of a traditional rod" and ended up looking at a very "odd" interpretation of the term.


    Yours is very cool.

    I was a lil worried about the colors. I mean green can kill a car, but I agree I like it.

    It looks like it is a suicide axle with the frame horns ??

  22. Looks great, Love the wheels. Pretty soon the new wheel rage will be wide fives with white drums. Garantied to put an end to the Divco hype.

    A 4th pipe on a flathead? Must be a SoCal thing.

    Damn fine looking rod, remember them looking like that in the 50's.

    Nice, very nice indeed, love the wide 5s but am also a bit confused by the framehorns. It looks like the frame is laying on the axle.
