I have a soft spot for these. I wanna see it in person this weekend. I love the overall look & attention to detail. First build? $5555? You should be VERY proud of the car & yourself. Further proof that time, talent, determination, & a willingness to learn can result in a VERY respectable traditional hot rod. Buckshot = INSPIRATION. JH
Looks great! Well done. A few questions: How much is the creen chopped? What/where are the seats from? Are the shocks from speedway? How do they ride? Thanks Adam
Great looking car. I hope mine comes out as well. Keeping it within budget encourages me. One question - what kind of seat belts are those? For fifteen bucks, they were a score.
Very nice! It shows what can be done on a tight budget, and that the car doesn't need to look like a cobbled up piece of ****. The appearance of this modified is spot on, and is a reflection in your ability. I would like to build something similar one day with some of the A bits & pieces here. I'm sure your car will be inspirational to a LOT of us. Michael
Great looking ride. I'll be you'll have ten times more fun with that car than guys do that spend ten times as much on theirs! Can't wait to see it in person at the HAMB meet and great in Louisville. Congrats, Dennis
High praise from a guy that has built a cool little modified himself! I'm also lookin' forward to seein' the car in person this weekend. HRP
Cool ride. Thanks, too, for posting the price breakdown. Helpful for anyone in the 'collecting parts' phase of a build.
Very nice. Looks a lot more practical than the $5700 rod they just showed in Hot Rod too. That car was cool, but yours has a far more realistic ride height.
Now THAT is your basic hotrod. That thing just screams "Drive me !" I wouldn't mind taking that around the block once or twice. Very cool.
Fantastic! I couldnt stop smiling looking at the pics - great stance oozes "hot rod" Yeah where are the seats from? Homemade?
Awesome. Thanks for the detailed pics top!, those went into the archive. Love the simple color scheme continued throughout the interior, engine and body lettering. That really does say "Drive me" Jon
You should also be complimented on your photographic skill. These are some of the clearest, sharply focused, well exposed and nicely framed images I've seen on this board. Magazine quality easy.
I did the same!! I have a new desktop wallpaper. Love EVERYTHING about this little truck!!! Those seats look like they are out of a Cobra kit car. Am I right?
*****in' sweet awesome ride ! And done on the cheap, too- yer tight, man! Great pics, outstanding background with excellent landscaping. Roddin' at it's finest...
