I was thinking of covering my seats in kimonos and making my floor boards out of rice paper for a Far East theme. The guys at OCC thought they could fabricate the paper for me.
Here's a thought. The acrylic place I do side work for makes acrylic furniture... anyone need acrylic bucket seats? How about acrylic running boards!? That would be some barbarella **** right there! CLEAR IS GOOD! (at least here anyway )
It would be fun to do it for a while to get it out of your system, then throw it away the next week after it is all crazed and scratched and you can longer see through it. If you got a peice of some acrylic or Lexian, Id say do it. But I wouldnt spend more than you think the fun of doing it would be worth. Kinda like cheap JC Whitney Exhaust cut-outs: fun to do once, and cheap enough to make it worth doing at least once and then throwing them away.
