For the locals in L.A. He is playing at the Roxy June 2nd. My babe has seen him play and says that he puts on a kick ass show. Anyone else on the HAMB here seen him live? I haven't. Just would like to know a little more. I have seen him with Phil's band Superjoint Ritual on dvd live but, that is about as live as I have gotten. KNUX! P.S. I tried getting Alice In Chain tickets at the Roxy, sold out in like 2 min flat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea I saw Hank in Houston last year. He put on a really great show, the first half off the show was Hank III stuff and the second part was the Ass Jack heavy stuff.
That is what I have been hearing. He splits the show in 2. I have never heard of any artist doing that before. KNUX!
YaY!!! My Babe is takin me out on the town... Haha... I LOVE HANK 3... I got my babe hooked!!! Seen him everytime he has come into town, but I missed the last time... So excited!!! xoxox PV

Just purchased my ticket. Ill be there by my lonesome. My chick doesnt like him. Better for me. I get to drink and act a fool.
Yeah I saw his at the galaxy in santa ana, my girlfriend is friends with Gary who is Hank's metal bands singer. They really put on a good show! Highly recomend anyone to go see them! JOse.
Ive got Wayne "the Train" in Itunes right now. (Highway 54) Hank III will be in D/FW with Eleven Hundred Springs next month. And Eleven Hundred Springs will be at my house on May 20. HAMBers are welcome, its my wifes birthday. We always pass a good time!
I was lucky enough to catch him the year he did a show where he was in a 3 bands that where on the bill...the firt set was country and just him and a guitar, second set more rock a billy...third set was him doing nothing but Misfit covers...sweet! He always puts on a good show,,,,and the new album is killer
Heard a radio piece on him on one of the NPR stations. Sounds like an interesting fellow running with satanists and stuff. Music ain't half bad too.
Does he do it with the same high-pitched nasal voice he sings his other stuff with? Doesn't seem like it would sound right...
I got a chance to see him when he did 3 sets too... It was pretty awesome, cowboy hats and mohawks mixed together. First set was country with an upright bass and a accoustic guitar, second set was a rockabilly set (short but GREAT) with an accoustic guitar with a pickup installed and a upright bass, and the third set was electric everything as Assjack (but used all the SuperJoint Ritual gear). It was a hell of a LOOONG show too. At that time his bass player was the former guitar player of Th' Legendary Shack Shackers, Joe Buck. My friend and I got a chance to hang out with him a bit the first time I saw the Shack Shakers in the parking lot after the show; he's a cool guy, but looks pretty damn crazy on stage. If you haven't gotten a chance to see Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, DO IT! It's well worth the 12 bucks for a ticket, they put on a terrific show. Their albums are good, but they're WAAAAY better live, they're wild. The second time I saw them it was a huge friggin' blizzard so my fiance and I were 2 of like 15 people there. I was about the only one there that had seen them before and had there albums so I got the mic jammed in my face a few times, and we got to chat after the show.
Well if we are gonna go maybe we should have a couple of rounds for the HAMB. What do you guys think?
I have seen him twice and I am going this next time. "the Train" wrote almost all his first album and help get him started but Hank III pays all the respect in the world to the people who have helped him. Hank III covers cocaine blues and atlantic city, also. Damn good show he puts on both times I saw him he played a set of his country stuff, then some hellbilly, then he plays the heavy Assjack stuff. So that way the pussies can enjoy the music then leave before the quality drops and the energy rises. I also saw him play with Super Joint Ritual as the guitarist.
Shit! That was fast getting yer ticket. How much did it come out to? I better get mine before it gets sold out then! KNUX!
It was $20, but with all the Ticketmaster fees it came out to a little over $30. I hate Ticketmaster.
