Who doesn't love a Willys coupe?
My wife always said she loved willys.

 

I'm probably having a senior moment but shouldn't the front spring shackle be on the same side of the axle as the steering box? Looks like a fun project.

Thanks for the reply’s tried to tell about the car but every time I tried to post everything went for a ****per

 

We widened the fenders 3in so we didn’t have to cut up a perfectly good trunk
Now I need some wider halibrands

 

If I can find the pics when it came out of the dip tank it looked a little bit different
But then again it lost around 200lbs of lead and bondo

 

She’s a keeper then

The trick is never keep the invoices I really don’t mind spending my kids inheritance

 

Those are mounted the same as mine are on my 48 pickup. His steering box is behind the axle and the springs pivot from that point.

That is going to be a nifty G***er 4 Port.

 

At first glance it looks like E coated metal. You could have really messed with us and told us you mocked up the first Dynacorn Willys Coupe!

@4port Willy , any updates on your build? I am enjoying following along. What motor and transmission are you planning to run?

 

• Just getting the motor redone for the 2nd time ,first guy ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffd it up.should be on the dyno next week its a blown 392 hemi hilborn 4 port efi bolted to a 4 speed ,just waiting to run the motor in the car to make sure alls good,then blow the car apart for paint .Just running the fuel lines now and that should be it(I hope ).will post more pics when the engine goes in,thanks for the intrest

Well been back in the garage ,Got the engine back a couple weeks ago ,here’s a few pics
Seems like the closer you get to the finish the bigger the list gets .hope to be on the road end of summer ,paint will come this winter
