Technical BXV-3 equivalent

    Hi I have a Dodge D12 original motor 6 Cyl with a BXV-3 If I want a new Carburator to replace this model what is your suggestion?

    Hi had a 39 Plymouth found that an Isuzu truck carb bolted straight on same mounting frame etc. Good economy and performance. A lot of Mopar restorers were using them sorry can't remember the truck model that was nearly 30 years ago.

    The Stromberg "B" series carburetors are a**** the very best single barrel carburetors ever built at any price at any time anywhere in the world. Would suggest rebuilding rather than replacing.

    Plymouth used the Carter type BBR-1 carburetor on the Mopar 6's. There is good reason to replace them, often with the Stromberg B series.
