Customs Cherry Mechanic Questions

    Hello,have a1953 235 engine and am trying to find oil canister.what came out was 4 1/4 wide and 4 1/2 high,closest I've been able to find is 4 1/8 wide and 4 3/4 high. Is this a problem?

    is it an original AC housing?

    does the old filter have a number on it?

  4. Sorry, are you looking for the cartridge filter that goes into the canister or the complete canister filter ***embly?

    Easy to find a part flow oil filter ***embly, lots made oem and aftermarket

    If your looking for the filter that goes inside, donas squirrel said and look for a part number
    Should still be available from some where.

    May need to find a filter house or a Donaldson filter rep if it’s aftermarket and no numbers

    Hello,just the oil canister,changing oil.Everyone has them ,but not my size and couldn't match no. Thanks anyway.Never give up!

    It sounds like the cartridge, You have is just a not"exact" replacement, but if I'm correct, there's a spring in there that Will adjust to the 1/4 difference... Run it as long as it's snug on the center tube...

    Hello,yes sir,sounds good,the spring does compress down.I think I'll order and see!.Thanks for advice.
