OT - Air Scoop on Overhaulin truck

    Quick question, did anyone see the whole episode, and if so, can you tell me if the team built the scoop on the single-four, or did they just buy it?

    I'm looking for details of just the scoop. It looked just like the one on the injected Greer, Black, and Prudhomme car. Thanks for any help.

    Alan Johnson's street rod shop is making those, look in a Street Scene or Street Rodder magazine for his adds. You can buy it with or without the base, but it's expensive.

    They are being repopped, I believe. I saw a couple at a GG swap this year. I think he wanted $150 for them...

    but I had been drinking that day...

    I don't think they made it. I saw one just like it a Pate on friday, I didn't get a chance to ask the price since the guy was running to put his stuff away before the "hail".

    I've seen them advertised as boat scoops and have actually seen them on a few boats.
