the only thing I have heard is where not to go, some place that starts with an 'S'.

I just received a set of 15" smoothies from Early Wheel for my Ford.
Good order experience, good prices, and I got them in a WEEK.

One thing you need to know about Early Wheel though, that almost seems to me that they are intentionally hiding:
their wheels are uni-lug, what I mean is that you get a wheel with 10 lug nut holes, like a universal blank that works for multiple lug patterns.

I care because I wanted to run spider caps on these wheels. Unless I weld and grind the extra holes away, though, it's probably going to look like shit.

There's no mention of this in any of their website or catalog literature. Every single picture they show of their products show the wheels with caps.

I'm not accusing them of anything. I'm happy otherwise, but it does seem to be something they should tell you.

    FYI.

Spoke to Pete at Early Wheels last week, I was looking for dual pattern wheels and he said everything he has is dual pattern. Got the tip on him on Hamb. Talked to Pete probably 20 minutes, very knowledgable, stocks what I want, and prices are fair. I buy wholesale from several major wheel companies, but I'm going to send some business Pete's way. Turns out I bought my first helmet from him over thirty years ago at his speed shop in Butler NJ. I was one of the pita kids with my nose pressed against the glass.
