I think this is very cool. You want a 180 degree three twos intake for your 241 Dodge? Or Chrysler. Or Packard or what ever. Get a flathead triple, some muffler molley and 3/16 plate and you are on your way/

So, Rich; I'm inferring from your two statements that this is a 3-2 flathead Ford intake with the fuel pump and generator bracket ends cut off. Is this correct?

Flatheads, while when dressed properly can be drop dead gorgeous, are not an engine I particularly want for my own use so I'm not very familiar with details and idiosyncrasies.

Way OT, but cool. Spotted yesterday at the Amelia Island Concourse de Elegance. I looked at so many cars yesterday I can’t even remember what this was other than an F1 car..,..

You are correct And the heat riser passage was also removed. If you wanted to keep that for the street, you would just leave it as is. I really think this is ingenious. Clem didn't think the log manifolds, that were all you could get for an Ardun, worked out of turns. He wanted a dual plane intake for bottom end response. And this was a very good way to get it. 65 years later I think this would be a good way for people with DeSotos and what not to get trips and good street manners while still having a vintage look Plus a 'I did it myself" look. Cool.
