I need this kind of lug nut, but with a 1/2 longer shank. Must have the rounded shoulder.
Napa couldn't find them, so here I am, looking for help. Thanks.

go to the Gorilla Lugs site. I have that style on my 56 with AR wheels and they have different depths on the shank that goes into the wheel and the angle seating on the rim. After you find the # you want the google it for the best pricing...Worked for me...

  5. I like jegs, but summit has a great search and drill down function on their web site.

Summit, and their is a guy on ebay called the lugnutking. He also has many different lug nuts and styles to choose from, and good prices. Speedway also has lug nuts.

Does it take a washer ? If so it is known as a ET style conical lug.

Ain't nothing like the flavor of smoked lugnuts on a cold winter's day.

What kind of wheels are you trying to put on? I bought these from the lugnut king. For a set of American TTO’s. They have a tapered seat but need the extra length for thread engagement because of the thickness of the wheels past the taper.[IMG][IMG]

Like I posted , check The Lugnutking. You should find what you need. Or contact him.:)

  14. If you're calling the part that goes through the wheel, onto the stud, the "shank", I'm not sure why you need that extra length, unless maybe your studs are too short. All the grip, clamp and holding power is only in that 60° taper. You don't ever want the shank at the base of the taper to bottom out. I hope I'm not muddying the waters with off the point info, but based on the photo, I don't see the problem. (?)

I like the Lugnutking too, met them at swap meets, but, I've never seen a tapered seat with a shank any longer than those pictured above.

The lugnutking found me some left hand thread lug nuts for my Pontiac rear in my old Falcon for some aluminum wheels. Good price and fast shipper.

    Americans wheels.
These are like the ones I have, need a 1/2 longer shank. Had to use a wheel spacer and want more thread engagement.

You may end up installing longer studs. I am not sure this style lugnut comes any longer. Good luck

  22. Okay.... now it makes sense. You might not be able to find any lug nuts with a longer shank because they're probably only made for a certain wheel thickness without spacers. Making some especially long/deep for spacer set ups may be too limited a market so they aren't available, I'm thinking. Longer studs may be your only recourse.
