The body was bought off of the HAMB here about a year ago. The pictures were bad and they mudded both inside and out to hide the "great" metal work and rot they just mudded over.
Well it' time to fix the mess. We've got parts from 4 bodies to make it right. 20171101_164454.jpg

Check out the back window is twisted and leaning out. Roof insert was also an inch off center. Chop was a 1/4 inch taller on one side 20180308_085310.jpg 20180308_085254.jpg 20180308_085328.jpg

Yikes! I can’t imagine how thick the mud had to be to bury all those straps on that roof?

Billy came by and we started cutting out the ugly. Thee car evidently sat on its roof and the bottom isn't too bad. 20180308_110450.jpg 20180308_114458.jpg

And we started fitting and putting some of the replacement parts on. There' a lot of fitting and measuring to do.....but it's already looking better. 20180308_132016.jpg 20180308_155544.jpg

Oh the paint sticks on the floor were stacked to shim the roof up! Front of the roof had a 2x4 shoved in for a "shim"

I was reminded of my mother laying out dumplings on her cutting board when I saw the picture of the roof.

I've seen some bad bodywork in my time, but I think that takes the cake.
It will be fun to watch it be done correctly.

That is the worst work I think I have ever seen , I can't believe that was done thinking it was a legit fix .. looks like a crook and a fraud case to me ... who is responsible for making that specimen?
