Hey, anybody know where I can find a list of car club names? We finally s****ed up enough like minded people to start alittle club.(all being traditional hotrods, and customs)I want to make sure we aren't using any current club names,so's too avoid any *** whippen's.than**x!
Just go ahead and say some names here and I'm pretty sure you'll get responses on the names there's a lot of people here who pretty much heard every name and they wont be shy to let you know
Coldshot, yeah they are real good with names. I was thinking about naming my car....that was so funny!
When you get ready PM me and I'll let you know if I've made plaques for anyone with that name in the last 28 years (~80,000 plaques for ~3000 different clubs). I can also tell you if I have a pattern from the 50/60's in my collection of ~11,000 patterns. Here's what a quick search for Louisville found in the 11,000 collection: Drifters, TheLouisvilleFuel FiendsLouisvilleGoldenrodsLouisvilleKustom Kings Rod CustomLouisvilleKustomsLouisvilleLancers Rods CustomsLouisvillePistonn PoppersLouisvillePushrods Rod & CustomLouisvilleShiftersLouisvilleStormersLouisvilleStrip AngelsLouisville RIVER RATS LOUISVILLE BOARDER REBELS - R/C LOUISVILLE, RAM RODS LOUISVILLE, STROKERS ROD & CUSTOM LOUISVILLE, Dennis ( Wow - that's not how it was formatted in the reply edit box!)
yayyy search function! You should come up with a list of names and then do an exhaustive internet AND HAMB search. If all those names are taken, start over. The more creative you are, the less likely you'll find a match
We were thinking of calling ourselves the "Falls City Phantoms"since Louisville used to be refered to as the"Falls city"(after the Falls of the Ohio). We've done alot of searching, but didn't find any clubs with that name(aside from ROLLS ROYCE clubs, but I'm not to concerned about gettin' my *** kicked by those guys.)We wanted to check the HAMB just to make sure.
