Here are a few shots of the most Hamb-ish of the lot. I also have a love of period sports cars with cycle fenders that look more hot rod than Porsche, so I thru a few of those in, too. Anyone else with pix is welcome to post theirs here, too. Gary PS the info card for the Mooneyes coupe was added later, but I can't find a way to put it in the proper order, so it's down at the bottom. Sorry.
Part 3 of lumpy gravy. The Maserati was a revelation, not so much the crowd and junk that was always around it.
Some incredible cars at Amelia Island.... WOW. Love the Roth stuff, of course - and the freshly restored Chrysler Plainsman station wagon concept is OFF THE CHAIN! Wish I had been there.
The show was moved up a day because poor weather was forecast for Sunday. I don't know if that happened, but Saturday was perfect. It was pretty cold, I hear, on Friday for some of the other events. Gary
It was a beautiful day- and a lot of walking. I won’t embarr*** myself by posting any pictures that I took after seeing yours Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Thanks for taking the pics and putting them on here. Looks to be a great location with heaps of room around the cars.
Thanx. But they are just snapshots, really, just point and shoot. The early morning sun is very contrasty there and I've never really learned now to handle that. Gary
Thanks for the great pics Gary, esp the ones of the vintage race cars. There is so much detail stuff on them that we can learn from, just how they joined things together is an art form.
