Did the bride come with a RA so she could be returned if you don't like her?

  3. Exact same M.O. Dan. Now I'm receiving emails on woodies I didn't even inquire about. I looked on a map for a town close to Mason City and said I'm a lucky guy, my uncle lived there, I'll pay cash and he will drive it away.....that will stop this one.
    Hello,
    > >
    > > I'm selling this, because my husband died a month ago in a bike accident and keeping it really hurts me, because it brings me memories. I decided to sell it for $25,000 because I want to see my husband happy up there. He always wanted to help people and he loved to see them smiling. I want you to consider this price as a gift from a woman who loved a priceless man. I really want to be on good hands and the money at this time for me are not important just necessary.

  4. I sent her this......I'm done. It was fun while it lasted......
I wired my Uncle the money and I'm all ready to buy it. If I can get it this weekend, I'll give you an extra 2000.00. I don't want to miss out making your husband happy up there. Please send the address in Mason City so my uncle can go by. He's in Hazard, it's only 17 miles away. I know this sale is a gift to me from God because you're a special needs Nurse and my Uncle has special needs. It's like I won the lotto.......Thanks.....

Ah, but how cool would it be if it were legit?

  6. Since I didn't inquire about this woodie, unlikely. That's how these clowns operate. They give enough info to hook you and then reel you in until your screwed and then you complain about it on a website.....:( The eBay exchange makes it appear/sound legit. Also, why do they always want your info. They ask in every correspondence. When I sell a car, all I want is the cash in hand, then I get your info....

  7. My response (top) to the email below.....I called him by his last name to let him know I'm Nigerian.......

    Ryan,
I can send a certified check with an extra 5000 for your trouble with my transport company when I pick up the car. My truck driver is named O.J. He's the only one I trust to pick up my cars in my car collection. I work on an oil drilling rig and will be on it for several months. If this is OK with you, I will need your name, address, banking info and your wife's name. Plus, I need an extra key. That's five keys total. I'm serious and ready to do this so please respond.

    Hello there,

The car, the title, two sets of keys, manuals and some service history records is what you will get from the shipping company. The car belonged to my father who recently passed away. Now the car is located in Spokane, WA crated and ready to go. I arranged for the sale right before I left the country. I propose to close the deal through a shipping company, in the most safe and easiest way possible for both of us. Basically, it's similar to buying a car locally, the money will be sent to their holding account, and they will keep the money until you will receive and inspect the car. After the car is delivered, you will have a 7 days inspection period before you decide if you wish to keep it or not. If you are serious about buying the car, I will ship it anywhere with no extra cost.
If you want to move forward please contact me back so we can get the ball rolling.

  9. I have been collecting scam letters and emails for about a decade. I have over 100 pages of them in a MSWord file. Sort of sad, back in the day you got a letter on watermarked stationary, hand signed and written in great English. Very impressive. All you get nowadays is a silly email note written in pig-English saying send me your money. I guess Nigerian schools have degraded along with American ones.

Your story is great, and a lesson to all of us. Not to take away from it, but if anyone has 10 minutes to spare will get a laugh or two from this guy:

Yep, out of the country. The prince is currently "plowing the beans" of his recently passed Royal father's concubines.
