Damn! we had ourselves a little weather here in Austin last night. 90 m.p.h. winds and 5 inches of rain at the hacienda! the neighborhood looks like it was attacked by a tree trimming crew that had no intentions of cleaning up after themselves! The power is still off at my place and a few others (shop looks alright, and God gave me about 13 milk crates--thanks,dude!)but I heard it was way worse in the surrounding counties. every one O.B.K.B?

Had a lighting strike right across the street.
    Scared the shit outta me!

No power for about 7 hours, luckly no trees down this time.

  4. Holy shit. Hope all's well.

Aren't raining milk crates one of the signs of the apocolypse?

Lotsa wind and rain, but no power outage at our house in South Austin. I just went and moved some big limbs out of the street down the block, but everything else seems to be fine.

Got trapped at the Music Lab for a couple of hours. Watched some punk rock chick get sucked out the back door movie style. We told her not to open it, she didn't listen. WOOSH!! she was gone!! Drove home in the '62 with no wipers, that was fun. I guess I'm glad to be alive today. There were tons of streetlights with no power, so I was 4 way stopping them. You would be amazed at how many morons just blew through dead lights like it must be their turn. I could have gotten creemed a dozen times if I hadn't been paying attention. "Well, the lights out......it must be our turn. Let's not even slow down!!"

We just got a lot of rain and wind last night here in NE SA, but it wasn't too bad. Our bad one was Tuesday. I got stuck in a big hailstorm on IH35 with nowhere to go on my way home from work. No damage, though, just a LOT of noise. :)

My car that was at home in the driveway (the one with liability only...) got hail damage all over it, and my roof and shed got hit pretty hard. The insurance company is coming out tomorrow to inspect the roof.

I could use some milk crates, but I'm not that lucky. Whenever we have a big storm, my yard just fills up with the whole street's leaves, cigarette butts, beer cans, and any toys their kids left out. At least the toys are fun. :)

Just lots of rain lighting and thunder up here in Cedar Park. I think we just got the border of the storm.

Lots of wind, stuck my head out to check about 10:30 after I hear a tree snap, luckily it missed everything important, just means the garage lost its shade tree, it's gonna be hot in there this summer. Actually two trees snapped in the back yard, both "trash' trees about 8-10" diameter

I'm renting so the landlord gets to clean it up ;)

and this is precisly why I am not a landlord.:D

Good to hear everyone is alright. on that same note, 20,000 people are STILL without power. not alot of people realize that 90+m.p.h. winds classify as an f1 tornado!

Lots of rain you all sent up here, thanks. I guess 90mph winds are kinda fast for you city types. Why do you think we have no trees here? :)

the closest i came to anything damaging was this morning on my way to work.

it was raining pretty good at 6:15 on northbound mopac and some idiot in a suv weaving in and out of traffic lands himself in front of me then almost sides swipes the person in the middle lane (while attempting to go around another car) then he cuts back over to hard and has to cut back cause he almost hit the cement wall and ends up sliding sideways across 3 lanes of traffic, i guess everyone saw the dumbass cause everyone backed off and he made it all the way across without hitting anything before coming to a stop.
