Valve guides and seals High vacuum at idle is pulling oil down the intake guides.

Is this a flathead engine? Flatheads I am familiar with did not have seals on the valve stems. I never saw loose guides cause oil to be drawn upward into the ***bustion chamber on a flathead. I could be wrong. speedshifter Greg W.

Two things you can do without pulling the head. Remove the valve cover and make sure the oil drain back holes in the head are open. and the valve stem seals can be replaced. google the process.
