Now would be a good time to check the shocks. If they are adjustable you should check settings. My shocks had changed from when I first set them but car has a lot of on the road miles bouncing around on the trailer.
Yea James I agree. May have to make some changes there. I need some good weather to break the diff in and make some test hits.
I want to thank everybody that has been following along with this project. Looks like no playing this weekend, snow is forecast for tues, wed, and possibly sat.. So I am going to polish the back wheels that the street tires are on, and then polish the wheels the slicks are on.
I like watching people spend there money. Guess you didn't get the memo......First day of spring is tomorrow.
Yea. I am ready, the coupe is almost ready, and now they are calling for 8-10 inches of snow. Oh well more time to work on coupe, between snow blowing.
Update , the gear oil and additive has been put in the rear, and the wheels polished and installed. The car is back down on the ground, and its snowing again.. I guess I will have a few beers and stare at her for a while.
Took the coupe out to start the break in process for the rear. The procedure is to drive the car at in town speeds for 15 minutes, then let the rear cool down completely and repeat 5 to 6 times. I got three in, took all afternoon and a good amount of fuel. The rear felt very tight the first time out, but got better the more I drove. Need to do three more sessions and get more fuel, LOL. No leaks, and all is working good. The car is a real animal.
