My Son and I went over today was a little damp this afternoon, but tomorrow is going to be sunny with highs in the mid 70's. Saw a lot of friends, nice cars and bought some parts for the T. See yall tomorrow..
that truck has got to belong to a greazy hubcap i see the rest of their rides in the background. good or bad, i believe it does.
The Greazies sorta halfway broke up. Some still exist.....some struck out on their own.... That truck IS part of the Greazy/ex-greazy crowd. I really can't defend it. I simply don't like it. Partly because I used to own that cab. If I woulda known what was going to happen to it........I woulda kept it. Whats the wheelbase on that rig???? 200" ?
Thanks for taking the time to post the pics! It's always cool to see what's going on in other parts of the country.
That truck was even scarier in person, looked like fence post was used for the pipes. There were a fair amont of traditional rods considering it was an NSRA event.I saw alot of cool cars, got some ideas and had a great time. The cars ran from high dollar billet everything to slapped together crap. Some I liked and some I didn't but thats what makes cars so much fun.
This MUST be the most jacked-up bunch of pics I've ever seen here. I'll post something worth looking at in the AM. I'm sure Boones will post a link to his as well. JH
thanks for helping me get motivation to go turn some wrenches so one day i can participate in the shows rather than just attending.
Hate? Hardly. It's just that you're posting pics of street rods (some damn ugly ones I might add) on a traditional rod & custom message board. They might as well be John Deere tractors. JH
You ain't got a clue, do you? Try reading this.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44274
If you dont like my pictures then don't post. I dont go around posting on other peoples threads I dont like. I just skip over them and get on with better things.
Nobody's hating. Read the newbie rules at the link posted above. The cars you posted are off topic - several other people posted threads with traditional cars so we know there were some there. If these are the kinds of cars you like that's fine - everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are plenty other places to post pictures of street rods on the net - if that's what you like you may want to find one. I'm not trying to be smart a$@ed or anything but that's just the way it is. If you are interested in traditional hot rods and customs, stick around
I like all photos. it rained like hell on Friday, but was great on Saturday. when i left Sunday it was lightly raining
