Crazy mill 'shoehorns'

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by vinnie mack, May 6, 2006.

  1. I just watched them 'drive' this car on the SPEED Channel.. not really HAMB friendly.. but i don't even know where this thing belongs.

The sound of it firing up would be something to hear for sure, and for a WWII buff like myself I gotta say I am impressed. I'm sure some have seen it before..

We've all seen these shots, but man, what a car. HAMB friendly too. :D

  4. Big A -> holy shit..any recent pics of it, is it still around? Any other info?

  5. I don't know much about it, but I'd love to see it in person (preferrably at speed). Allison engine (12 or 24 cyl?) from a P-51 Mustang. I think it went through a couple of incarnations, I do know it went from the original steel to a fibreglass body, but that's where my knowledge stops.

Is he running the power to the wheels off the accessory side of the motor? It looks like it from here, but that's a fuzzy picture and my monitor's nearly old enough to be HAMB friendly...
