I just watched them 'drive' this car on the SPEED Channel.. not really HAMB friendly.. but i don't even know where this thing belongs. The sound of it firing up would be something to hear for sure, and for a WWII buff like myself I gotta say I am impressed. I'm sure some have seen it before.. Page 3 - start here http://www.rodshop.com.au/project55.htm http://www.rodshop.com.au/project55p2.htm http://www.rodshop.com.au/project55.htm Now i've seen gasoline turbine engines installed, tank engines I wanna see some more vehicles with 'crazy' and strange mills. Anyone got some pics/vehicles post em up!.
http://www.turbinecharger.com/ this one ain't hambfriendly either, but whatehell... i think it's cool
Can't have this conversation without including Big Al... We've all seen these shots, but man, what a car. HAMB friendly too.
I don't know much about it, but I'd love to see it in person (preferrably at speed). Allison engine (12 or 24 cyl?) from a P-51 Mustang. I think it went through a couple of incarnations, I do know it went from the original steel to a fibreglass body, but that's where my knowledge stops.
Is he running the power to the wheels off the accessory side of the motor? It looks like it from here, but that's a fuzzy picture and my monitor's nearly old enough to be HAMB friendly...
Not "HAMB friendly" maybe but I just LOVE the sound of this thing!! Rover V8 in a Mini. (Not the fake one they make now either!!). Tight fit? Oh yeah!! V8 Mini!!
