Can anyone give me some dimensions on the V8-60? Width, height, length, and also the diameter of the flywheel and bellhousing?

    Small by small by small......:D

I'd be curious what the real dimensions are too. Just for the sake of knowledge.

I've got one sitting in the garage. I'll grab some measurements tomorrow after "Back to the Beach"

    Not scientific but almost..
Widht: 15,5" between the outer edge of the heads. (the starter sticks out a bit on the right side, maybe 2").18" between the enginemounting holes.
    Height: 21,5" without the carb.
Lenght: 28". With the gearbox add 12,5".
    Flyweeldiameter: 11,5"
    Bellhousingdiameter: 13" 3/16.
    Weight: To heavy for me..;-)

This is one of the many reasons the HAMB is cool. I don't think there is a question that can't be answered by someone here.

    Here's some photos.

Looks like 18" between holes on front mount and 10" for trans mount. Front hole to rear hole is 37" straight line.

The pictures and measurements help a ton. Strangely, they confirm what I found out too late. I'd only had one flathead ever and it was about six years ago. The "bellytanker" dragster thing I have that was missing it's flathead from the original owner really takes a V8-60 and not the B8A that I have. I went to put it in the other night and realized the problem immediately. I should have measured it first instead of assuming. This car just gets weirder and weirder.
