Has anyone seen or know about a 1951 Ford Custom that sold on Ebay about 3 months ago. I was following this car, and I believe that the car was located in Phoenix at the time of sale. It was a black 2 door custom that had been chopped, upgraded to 12V and had a newer Ford V8 motor, and the interior had been redone. This car would be easy to spot as it had been painted black, but under the hood the engine compartment was skipped and p***ed over and left a robins egg blue.

The back story is that the car was garage built by an employee of Ford, over a period of years, while in Michigan. The gentleman retired and moved to Phoenix and p***ed away, and the seller had purchased the car at the estate sale.

I was several days late in the contacting the seller, and the car got away from me and I haven't been able to let it go. I have contacted the seller and he will not divulge any info on the buyer and Ebay doesn't have records back that far.

I'd love to talk to the new owner of this car.

Hi. Just so you understand, ebay has the info BUT for legal privacy issues they will not share it with anyone other than thru a court order & you do not have reasons that will get you a court order. Good for the seller as they should not divulge it for same reasons.
    Good luck, Jim

would the eBay seller be willing to forward your contact info to the buyer ?
Then it would be up to the buyer if they wanted to contact you to discuss the car.
