Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by JohnnyFast, May 4, 2006.

  1. Remember to put your teeth in BEFORE you go out.

  2. I've got a picture of me sitting in that car. I can certainly say duluth is what does THAT to people, not racing....

Johnny Fast, Just so you know - it's guys like you that have inspired guys like me. I could never afford all the latest stuff - the best stuff - nothing like that. But when I SAW guys liek YOU building your OWN stuff one day the light clicked on and I realized that I could do the same thing. I used to always look at you guys running dragsters and think you were all NUTS. Now I am completely sure I was right. And as PROOF here's the digger I am presently building. Thanks JF!!!!!

  11. Usually I really like before and after shots.
By the looks of those cars I'd say you've had alot of fun up to this point and it's not over yet!

  14. Stories ? Hmmmm.....

That thing drove so straight that there weren't that many to tell. I remember making a single run for a cl*** trophy at Minnesota Dragways (against my own record) when a water fill plug fell out and the expanding water dumped all over me and the left slick....which got to smoking nearly the full quarter. It was a bit hard to see where I was going but I stayed on it and won that fool's gold along with a major ***-chewing from the strip manager, John Foster, who had to get his track dryer out because of me.

Some of the best stories were when the car was on the trailer. We made a wrong turn in St. Paul and got lost in a residential neighborhood. There was an old guy mowing his lawn so we stopped and asked him for the quickest way to get to Minneapolis. His reply was, "Take that thing off the trailer !" :D

  15. Not everyone can say they got their *** chewed by John Foster, good work.
