Customs 1959 el Camino tailgate swap?

Finishing up metalwork on my 59 Elco and was wondering if anyone has ever swapped a tailgate from a station wagon over to an elcamino. I have a decent wagon tailgate but the top has more difference than I thought it would, other than the gl*** opening. Any help?

I have a wagon gate for my elky. I thought the only difference is the area for gl***?
What else is different?
