Thanks. If so, would it be easier to swap the speedo, rather than find/make a wire that fit 36 Chevy speedo and late 30s Ford 3 speed. I have a 37 Ford speedo and a 48 ford speedo laying around.

  4. One of the Hamb members can make the cable anyway you want it. At this moment I can't recall his name. The avatar has blue in it and maybe in Co.

  5. There are several shops that likely can get you going. We used North Hollywood Speedometer and Clock Company. They made us a special cable to run a vintage Harley speedometer, a "police special", with a T5 in our roadster. Works perfect and I'll use them again. Very helpful.

Looks like my "37 Chevrolet truck, decal faces are easy enough to install if the gauge still works OK. The cable is the standard size used for ever. truck pictures 077.jpg

I love looking at old gauges from years ago.
They had a very cool look to them.

Here is an updated photo, I took the aftermarket gauges apart, scan the dials, picked matching fonts and colors, then printed them off on thick card stock. I have to many gauges to look at, but I have been tuning dual Carter W1's and needed the wideband and vacuum gauge.
