Anyone know how to set up an Ellis dual carb intake to a Dodge flat six going into a '42 Faro pu? Advice appreciated.
Here is an updated shot of the one that is sitting on a cart in an earlier post this thread. Some of the upgrades include a vintage Fenton dual single barrell intake, Thickstun 2 barrell adapters, a pair of big logo 97's, finned air cleaners from vintage speed, headers from Langdon's, HEI ignition from Langdon's, OTB finned coil cover, Mopar chrome alternator, 6 blade fan, AoK trans adapter, A833 4sp OD trans, Hurst Shifter, scrapes, bruises, sweat, pride.
This thread is a few years old. Any body got something to share that is still serving or has been recently dragged out of hibernation? Mine is 44,000 miles more experienced ( the one that started the thread) Looks a little crummier, still runs great, going to get an OD trans coming up shortly.

Seen a couple tattersfield intakes on cars over the years, never a head. Wonder how many they made? Any idea what compression ratio is?
Oh, I'm still at it. Just storing up for future projects. I've got a line on a 32 Plymouth that I'll probably squeeze that 265 into.
At least I am not the only guy stacked up with Chrysler and Dodge Flatheads.... LOL. I collected 24 of them.... I am one sick puppy! Sent from my XT1585 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
My latest project -1931 Olds. runs like a top, good torque...a little hard starting when cold. That dxr-2 stromberg is an interesting carb, their first downdraft. Idle mixture is up top and has adjustable main in the side. And yes, that cool air cleaner IS original!
] RMR&C - Car originally came from up in Pablo. Was bought in '70 by a friend of mine. Paint and interior done in 1974-75. Was driven in some parades for the bicentennial then parked. Was driven for his stepdaughter's wedding 15 years ago and parked again. Running gear (even the muffler) is all original.
