I'm sure its on here somewhere but I am trying to figure out how the rods hook up and are secured for the interior door handles on a 1928/29 ford coupe. Any help or pics or links would be great.
Just putting together the doors on my 30 coupe, bought the rods from Synder's Antique Auto and installed them. I have a 29 and my avatar is a 28 I did years ago and think they are the same, been a while since I put together a 28-29. The rod slips into the slot at the back of the door and goes behind the door latch. Getting the spring on and in the right direction is a pain, this is the right door. Tried to get a good picture but got my finger too, hope this helps.
sounds like you maybe missing those clips ? Snyder's has them along with everything else shown in those pictures
I have the stuff just wasn't sure how they went bought the body and got pieces in boxes, at least they were bagged and tagged though. Thanks.
