What cars/trucks do I need to look for to find 5 on 5 steel wheels?

I'm getting sick of just asking around, and I have no idea what to look for. No time to roam the yard with a tape measure. The cragars on the wagon don't have the proper backspacing and the tires rub in the back when I have it dropped. I need new tires (like two weeks ago!) but don't want to put new ones on and tear up the whites on them. I want to try to find some wheels tomorrow, but need to know some specific vehicles to look for. Can anyone cook me up a list?

Sorry if this post is a little ran together, I'm tired and my fingers are all cramped up from wetsanding!

Right off the top of my head I'd have to say. That's GM big pattern. Vans, Trucks, Wagons, Caddys, Buick rivs. so on so forth. Whats your wagon?

thats right but most will be 14's. look for 70's and 80's chevy trucks, full size vans(1/2 ton), 60's and 70's cadillac and buick.and some late 70's lincoln/t-bird.

If the wheels are for the '64 Buick, the center hole in Buicks is bigger than all the other factory equipment 5 on 5 wheels you'll find, so you'll have some clearancing work to do ... most have no alignment pin holes, either, if the '64 still uses them.

Shit, i didn't think about the center holes! I had to do that with some wheels on my old car and that sucked! I can't remember if the locating pins are still there or not.....

Center holes will have to be enlarged unless you find buick wheels.. no locating pins on the '64. I'd look for a set of the stock buick chrome wheels.. or if nothing else you should be able to find a set of steelies from a mid '70s electra or something....

1971 - 1998 chevy trucks had the 5 on 5 - however the rally that came on these trucks will not hold a center hub cap but will handle a full hubcap. Most rallys were 15x8. Nonrally were usually 15x7.

Most of the Chevy vans of this vintage were 15x7.
