Folks Of Interest Retired at last !

View attachment 3866140 I finally closed up my State Inspection Station and Rod Repair Shop after 22 years and retired at 77 years old . Also worked as a plant maintenance mechanic 10 years , 2 years as a diesel truck mechanic and 26 years in a GM dealership . I will now enjoy driving my 37 Ford and working around the house !

Congrats, I retired Jan 2 at 71 and now wish I had retired a couple of years earlier. Agreed it is time to play with our hot rods.

I had to retire at 62 for health reasons. I just turned 71 and my health is the best it has ever been. Work related? Congratulations. May you have many happy productive years!

Well congratulations however this was/is your first mistake. Rule # 1 NEVER EVER tell anyone that you are retired. Don't ask how I know as I'm still working 24/7 well maybe not quite 24 but 7 fer sur. Lie if ya have to. Pack your lunch box/bag & sneak your fishing gear or what ever you like doing & disappear til supper time.
I ain't talkin no mor too many eyes & ears.
