1952-59 Ford Anyone running a three speed top loader?

Are you talking about a T86 or the newer 3 speeds? I had a T86 OD in my car and it worked great.

 

I have to get under and check it out to ID it. It came installed in my car. I have a 1972 351 so I’d ***ume it’s that trans? I adjusted the linkage once for neutral but paid no mind to it. I do not have overdrive, just 1-2-3. I’m looking for a speedometer gear for it. Feels like there is not a gear in there. I’d love to have O.D. and if what I read is true, it should be an easy swap.

T86, T85 is a side loader

 

I finally had a chance to look mine up. I can't find much online about it. It's a RAN T transmission, apparently Tremec. It seems like these were used on a broad arrangement of cars and trucks from 63-77. It works fine and is good enough, but I'm having a hell of a time finding things for it.
