    Caps - yes
    Rings - no
    White walls - no

Unless you like it some other way. Whatever gives you the grins!

    Absolutely, lose the whitewalls.
Blackwalls and caps, no trim rings.
Whitewalls are for creampuff customs, blackwalls are for hot rods.

I am working towards what I like. I acquired the car with the (near new) WW and rims as seen in the picture.
I am working towards 16" wires with bias-ply 16x7.00 rears and 16x5.50 fronts (black walls.)
But... at +/-$700 for the tires and $125 per rim powder coating it may be awhile until that happens...
So, in the meantime i am working with what I have while trying to keep the car as "traditional" as possible.
I am working really hard to only put Pre 1960 parts on the car. some compromises have been made but they are pretty much out of sight I.E engine internals, tires, trans, gauges and senders, exhaust piping and mufflers

    BTW,
Does anyone have a set of driver quality 16" beauty rings? Does anyone need a driver quality set of 15" beauty rings? (It would be nice if those two were the same person...lol)

Thanks for all of the input!!!
    Chappy.

I've always been partial to caps and rings, just looks finished to me. But it is your coupe so you shouldn't be a sheep,,, what do you think looks the best??

geees, Did you read my response to 42merc above about doing what I like?
I guess not, maybe you need someone to read it to you.
or, maybe you just need to be told directly...
Fortunately I am in a giving mood today so I will try to explain this to you directly...since you took the time to respond with the asked for opinion and then some.

I acquired the car with the WW tires on it (as seen in the bottom picture of my original post) the tires are just about brand new.
I am not a fan of white wall tires of any sort...i didn't even like white letter tires when they were popular back in the 80's
Ultimately the car will have 16" wires with 5.50 in front and 7.00 in back. Black wall bias ply. Those rims will have caps and no beauty rings.
This change will probably not happen until fall as I am in the process of paying for my two daughters college education. Once I have the extra coin to powder coat 4 wheels and buy 4 new tires I will put exactly what I know I want on the car.
Until then I am stuck with the two options listed in my original post. As I do not "love" either option AND neither option is what I want, I figured I would ask for some public opinion on which way to go with it until I can get it how I want it. So, how do you choose between two things you don't like? To me neither option looks good. i am just trying to make it as correct and least offensive as possible until I get what I want.
As for full wheel covers. I never liked the look of them, they are for factory restorations (that's why they were not listed as an option. Its not something I know I like, get it?)
    Chappy.

    Thanks for the memories!
It was a better world then.
I remember folding them up and whacking with a hammer so they'd all go off at once. Then shooting kitchen matches out of a pellet rifle. The BB gun battles...

Oh and those small caps really look great!

White walls are sort of formal looking....I'm thinking adding beauty rings would be the best look.

Wow! 2MANY PROJECTS, yet you managed to mount some 4-port heads on the Caddy! Er...no you dint.:D

The tidy little 'A' Coupe looks cool with her wide whites, and the black wheels and baldies give it a 'recently cleaned-up' look. Throw the caps and whites away and you've got another 'slightly dirty, kinda low, two exhaust pipes...' definition of a 'hot rod'...
Plenty of those already. Ride clean.
